The penguin lessons
|
Steve Coogan stars in a film about a man who rescues a penguin in a oil slick. Based in Argentina just after Peron has left power. It was light on political prowness but overall a good story and the penguin was SOOOOOO cute 4/5 |
FUZE
A true tv feel but a top notch cast. This was actually quite gripping from start to end. A robbery goes wrong as part of London is shut down, a bomb and plenty of massive twists. Good 4/5

Dolly
A true B-Movie horror. Its fun tacky silly and worth a watch. Nice to see Sean William Scott on the big scream. The “Dolly” in question is well made and creepy AF 3.5/5

Just for one day
I think this was confusing. It was more karoke night than anything else but tried to shoe horn some a deeper narrative about how we now feel and view band aid. A mix of voices some strong some awful. But

The long walk
Love a King adaptation and this by god was a good one. Set in a future a tv show is played where a group walk and walk and walk and the last one standing wins. The cast are brilliant in

Nuremberg
Well this was a good film with a particular stand out performance from Crowe. Its about the Nuremeberg trials and there is some shocking real life footage in this. I really liked it and it was a strong film 4/5

The Threesome
This was a lovely romance with a twist. A threesome escalates out of control and the repercussions are felt but everyone. This was smart, clever, funny and 100% well worth a watch 4/5

Tinsel town
Jesus lord alive what a film. Rebel’s accent is something else and Kiefer is a shocker. An actor gets fired from his role and ends up in panto up north. This is meant to be a heartwarming but its not
